Why you are asking, and why that is right
Most people who search a company’s name with the word “legit” are not accusing anyone. They are protecting a parent. In the caregiving forums, the two things families warn each other about most are agencies that promise coverage and then leave weekends empty, and review pages that read like they were written by the company. Being careful is not cynicism here. It is the job.
Are we a real company
Yes, and we will tell you the part most companies leave out: we are new. We would rather say that plainly than pad a page with stock testimonials and a five-star average nobody can trace. What we can offer instead is specifics you can check, in writing, before any money changes hands.

What we put in writing before you pay anything
The hourly rate. The schedule. Any minimum hours or weekly commitment. What happens if you change or cancel a visit. Any additional charges, including holidays, travel or assessments. Who your coordinator is and how to reach them. If an agency will not put those six things in writing, that is your answer, whether it is us or anyone else.
We do not have years of reviews yet
So do not weigh us on reviews. Weigh us on the things a new company can still be judged on: whether we answer the phone, whether we explain the costs without being chased, whether you meet the caregiver before care starts, and whether what we say in the first conversation matches what we send you afterwards.
How to check any agency, including us
Ask for the licence or registration their state requires for non-medical home care, and look it up yourself. Ask what background checks they run and who runs them. Ask who arranges backup when a caregiver calls out, and how you are told. Ask for the costs in writing. Ask to meet the caregiver first. Then read the one and two star reviews rather than the five star ones, because that is where the pattern lives.
What we will never do
We will never sell your inquiry to a network of providers. We will never invent a review or an award. We will never tell you we can safely provide care that we cannot. If your mother needs more than we can do well, we will say so and help you think about the next step.
The honest summary
Pink Glove Care is a small, new home care company that answers the phone, explains the costs, introduces the caregiver first, and keeps you in the loop. If you want years of history, we are not that yet. If you want specifics you can check today, ask us for them.
